MANCHESTER LEAGUE - the ‘GAP YEARS’
Research into the past of Non-League Football
can be a smooth process at times, but at
others involves hours spent with little to
show for it. A case in point of the latter type
concerns the Manchester League between the
two World Wars.
Thanks to TERRY ROWLEY, however, the site is able to bring three Final Tables
from
the period into the public domain. There is, apparently, a book containing
the information
by John Guilfoyle of the Lancashire FA. Unfortunately, repeated efforts to
track down a copy
of this have failed. Anyway here are the outcomes for 1921-1922,
1930-1931 and 1932-1933.
