Murton, Washington and Whickham all joined the Northern League.  Ryhope CW and SC Vaux merged to form Vaux Ryhope FC.  Hebburn Reyrolles became simply Hebburn.  Cleator Moor Celtic were elected to what became Division 1, as a new, 12-club 2^nd Division was formed. 

 

The clubs elected to the newly-formed section were Greatham, Lambton Street, Leam Lane, NEI Parsons, Nissan, Silksworth, Stanley United, Stockton EDC, Thornley WMC, Wingate Parish, Winlaton Youngs Descaling and Wolvistion.
